Simple Forecasting - Enhanced Scenario Selection
We've improved the options under scenario comparison experience in Simple Forecasting to avoid unintentionally duplicating the information that you see.
What's improved:
When using Simple Forecasting, the comparison scenario dropdown now intelligently prevents you from selecting the same scenario you're currently viewing. This ensures you're always making meaningful comparisons between different scenarios, rather than viewing duplicate information.
Benefits:
Clearer workflow - We don't show you the same information twice. We encourage you to use the appropriate fields for your scenario data
What to use when:
Viewing your current scenario's data? Use the Full Year Scenario fields - these give your full year values for the scenario you're working in
Comparing two different scenarios? Use the Full Year Comparison fields - these show the differences when you select a different comparison scenario. You may use this to compare against your approved budget, for example.
This enhancement streamlines your forecasting workflow by ensuring the right fields are used for the right purpose, making scenario analysis more straightforward and reducing confusion. You can find more information here
