IMP ICFP Updates
We’ve been listening to your feedback and have made some notable changes that focus on clarity and usability to your Snapshots and Staff Allocations.
Smarter Snapshot Management
•
Improved ordering:
Snapshots are now grouped by their snapshot chain and then sorted by start date, making it easier to find related snapshots quickly.•
Introducing a more refined snapshot dropdown:
The Staff Allocation snapshot dropdown now shows only snapshots from the past 12 months, plus current and future ones. If older snapshots exist in a chain, you’ll see a clear message so nothing gets lost but doesn’t clutter up your snapshots.Enhanced Saving Experience in Staff Allocation
•
Clear Save Confirmation:
We’ve replaced the old notifications with a persistent message confirming your changes have been saved. This message stays visible until your next edit, giving you peace of mind so you know exactly when you can refresh or navigate away from the page without losing data.•
Better Error Handling:
If there’s an issue, it’s highlighted directly in the cell, and you can hover to see details anytime. This prevents confusion and ensures you can resolve problems before navigating away. These updates aim to give clarity, improve visibility, and boost confidence in your workflow.
Fresh Look, Better Usability
You may have noticed a fresh look across some buttons in Staff Allocation and Curriculum Plan. We’ve also adjusted their placement to make navigation more intuitive.
The most noticeable change are our toggles which can be found using the following button:

• On
Staff Allocation
, you’ll now use this button to toggle your contact and non-contact.• On
Curriculum Plan
, the toggle controls the curriculum bonus on and off. These updates are part of our ongoing journey to make ICFP more user-friendly and visually consistent.
